Ender
So, I got Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card for Christmas, and I would recommend it to everyone.
The weird thing is that it’s essentially the story of my sister, my bother, and I, but set in the future.
No joke. There’s three siblings in the book, and there’s three of us. Two brothers, one sister. All three insanely smart (not that we’re all insanely smart, but...

Possibly my favorite artist.
I only found his stuff a couple of weeks ago, but I love all of it.

Musings Part Three
If you act like a child, I’m going to treat you like a child. No matter what your age, unless you actually are a child (but that’s under the age of 18 in my book, so 18 and up act like an adult).
It amazes me how irresponsible people can be. One would think that adults (see number one) would know how to keep track of their possessions (for example keys, wallets, phones,...
Me - "What do you think of him getting married?"
Kirsten - "I think it's cute and I'm excited for him."
Me - "Just cute?"
Kirsten - "I'm a girl Chris. We think marriage is cute."

If you're reading this, we don't have it that bad....
I was going to complain about having to still put my sheets on my bed before I could go to sleep. But then I realized I’m lucky to actually have a bed to sleep on and a house to sleep in.
New Year's Resolutions
Yes, I know it’s a week or so before Christmas, but people have been jumping the gun on holidays this year anyway, so I’m going to share my New Year’s Resolutions while I’m thinking about them.
Start exercising every day - meaning being active some way or another - yard work, running, lifting weights, biking, etc.
Stop being a doormat - after all, people only walk all...

The V Project - Book 1
in V for Vendetta is called “Europe After the Reign.” Which happens to be the title of my first sketch/painting as well, since I’m titling them after the books/chapter.
I’ve completed the first painting. It looks pretty good, bot my best work, but then again I’ve never done anything like this before so it’s pretty good to me. Pictures will hopefully be up...

The V Procject - Canvas 1
Tonight was the first night I ever started a painting, by painting the canvas black. It’s a strange thing to do, since most of the time I’m adding multiple, different colors first, but it also felt “right” (if that makes any sense). I don’t know how to explain it other than that. There was just something fulfilling in painting the pristine (white) canvas, pitch...

The V Project Update
So, I “finished” the sketch books today, meaning each page now has the Book or Chapter number and title on each page. Based on just the book and chapter titles in the original comic, there would be only 39 sketches, and eventually 39 paintings. If I include the two extra books at the end, that originally were supposed to come out before V for Vendetta (to introduce the...

The world runs on fossil fuels. How stupid is that?” - Jenner
– The Walking Dead - on AMC, not the graphic novels (although it might be in there, I haven’t read them yet, but I kind of doubt it’s in there, but I could be wrong).

The V Project
That’s the name of my newest art project/series. Or only real art project/series in my book. Yes I’ve been painting many paintings lately that have similar characteristics (multi-colored, blended backgrounds; splattered paint on top of that; and lyrics mixed in with those), but I’ve never really attempted an actual series of paintings that were meant to be connected to each...

Dad - "No. I bought ammo for the..."
Me - "THE 38!?!?"
Dad - "Yep."
Me - "Sweet!"
He bought me 275 rounds of 38 Special ammo.

Trevor - "What's a niece?"
Me - "Seriously?"
Trevor - "Yes. Is it like a nephew?"
Me - "Yes. But the female version."
